For gastronomic loving couples, our gourmet food and wine matching lunch session with resident wine expert Tom Forrest is the perfect way to spend Valentine’s Day. Tom will take you through the preparation of a specially chosen 4 course lunch, which you can enjoy with his recommended wines.

Tom Forrest Wine School - Sparkling Wine Tasting
The perfect prelude to Valentine's Day on 12th February, resident wine expert Tom Forrest will host a Wine School dedicated to a range of bottled fizz. Guests will sample a variety of sparkling wines and fine Champagne, learning how these bottled favourites get their fizz and delicious flavour.

This workshop offers a light-hearted yet informative tutored tasting of sparkling wines and their background.

Included are a set of tasting notes of the sparkling wines, compiled by Tom Forrest, and a set of six wine tasting glasses. The workshop will commence at 6.30pm and last for two hours.

In celebration of Valentine’s day, Vinopolis will be hosting Laughter Lounge on Saturday 14th February. For couples and singles alike this is sure to be a fantastic evening full of cracking comedy with a host of top end comedians. Chocolate and Wine Tasting
Some say it can’t be done, pairing wine with chocolate, but if you have the right wine to complement the right chocolate it can be a match made in heaven.

The wine experts at Vinopolis have done their research and are delighted to offer an exciting new masterclass on pairing wine with chocolate.

You will taste six specially selected wines with an accompaniment of the finest chocolates from around the world, and learn more about the history of chocolate as well as learning a few pairing tips from our experts.
