Guided Tasting Tour
Vinopolis’ Guided Tasting Tour delivers the best of both worlds with a combination of guided tour and private wine tasting lasting approximately one hour.
Guests are greeted on arrival at Vinopolis with a large taste of wine prior to a tutor-led tour of five wine producing regions. The tour guide will select the regions and the wines to be sampled and will show you how to sniff, gargle and spit like a professional. Then you will be given a voucher so you can enjoy a perfectly prepared Bombay Sapphire cocktail. Extra wine tasting vouchers can be purchased to enjoy at your leisure afterwards.

Premium Guided Tasting Tour
The Premium tasting tour follows the same design as the Guided Tasting Tour (described above) but with a fabulous selection of Premium wines instead. You will begin with Champagne followed by a White Burgundy or New World Chardonnay, next a Pinot Noir, then a Cabernet or Shiraz, finally a Zinfandel or Amarone and finishing with a vintage port.
*Please note that all wines are subject to availabilty. If unavailable they will be substituted with a suitable alternative.*

The Essential Wine Challenge
Lasting for 1.5 hrs and held in your own private room your expert Vinopolis Guide will begin with a light-hearted lesson in wine tasting whilst you enjoy a variety of 3 white & 3 red wines from around the world. This will allow you to perfect your smelling, swirling & slurping techniques in time for the Blind Wine Challenge. Tasting one mystery white & one mystery red wine you will be asked a number of searching questions about each. The Select Wine Challenge
The Select Wine Challenge follows the same format as the Essential Wine Challenge but with hand-selected Premium Wines instead. The winner of the Blind Wine Challenge will also receive an upgraded prize in the form of a bottle of Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Champagne. Cocktail or Whisky Masterclasses
Become 'the' expert at a Vinopolis Masterclass. These sessions offer a unique and exciting opportunity to gain a great understanding of cocktails (known as mixology – the art of mixing cocktails) or blended & single malt whiskies. Each Masterclass lasts 1 & 1/2 hours and includes the sampling of six drinks with the chance to gain a real insight into these fascinating areas. more info>>

Cheese & wine tasting
Our expert team here at Vinopolis have put their heads together and created the Vinopolis cheese and wine tasting event. You will taste six specially selected wines and an accompaniment of delicious cheeses. The event will be hosted by one of our in-house experts who will share their knowledge and guide you through all the tasting and slurping. The cheese & wine tasting lasts approx. 1.5 hours. more info>>

Vinopolis Food & Wine Tasting
Take your tasting experience to the next level with our Vinopolis Food & Wine tasting. This fantastic tasting session is perfect for understanding how food and wine work together. The session takes place in one of Vinopolis' private event rooms where you will have the undivided attention of an experienced Chef as well as a WSET qualified guide. This two-hour taste sensation combines the tasting of five wines alongside selected foods. A sixth wine is then sampled following a food preparation display and any questions you may have will be answered by your Vinopolis experts. Each guest will also receive a set of wine tasting notes and recipes for the dishes sampled during the workshop.

Borough Market meets Vinopolis
Vinopolis is delighted to be teaming up with TV chef and food writer Celia Brooks Brown, to provide a truly unique gourmet food and wine experience. Building on her highly successful Gastrotours of Borough Market, Celia will host a new Thursday afternoon event aimed towards intrepid food and wine lovers and beginners alike.

The tour begins at 3pm with a luxurious afternoon tea at Roast Restaurant, perched above the market. Soak up the atmosphere before joining the hustle and bustle with a veritable tasting tour guided by Celia giving the chance to meet with the passionate traders at Borough. Sample their produce and listen to their stories, ranging from rare breed meats, superfood juices, fine cheese, delicious tapas from Brindisa including their ultimate Iberico ham, among others.  Having made a few spontaneous purchases, the group will move onto Vinopolis for a gourmet food and wine matching session. Celia will cook a few seasonal recipes, inside the Vinopolis tour, using the produce bought from the market, and these will be matched with a selection of premium wines specially chosen by a wine expert at Vinopolis.

The “Borough Market meets Vinopolis” package couldn’t be a more perfect opportunity to get an insider’s view of the market, to taste and learn how to source the best ingredients on offer, and to unite them with expertly chosen wines in the enchanting vaults of Vinopolis.   

Please note that this package is only available for private groups with a minimum of 12 people up to a maximum of 15 people and only on the dates listed below. Bookings are taken strictly on a first come first served basis.
