| Vinopolis is celebrating Chilean Independence Day with a series of special events focusing on Chilean Wine and food. This will include a two week focus on the wine tour; visitors can sample from a special array of Chilean wines and traditional Chilean dishes. Tastings will be available as a £5 upgrade for tour tickets holders.
In addition, you have the opportunity to meet leading Chilean wine producers Ventisquero and Errazuriz with a special wine and food tasting events on the 8th and 15th of September. This includes a wine tasting session followed by a drinks reception and buffet of traditional Chilean dishes further details are below:
 Ventisquero- 8th September
 Viña Ventisquero will host a special food and wine event where guests can discover how their cool climate wines match traditional Chilean seafood dishes. Ventisquero will take visitors through a tasting of 6 wines, before inviting them to enjoy a buffet of delicious Chilean dishes where they’ll have the opportunity to match food with the wines they’ve just tasted.

• Choritos con Salsa verde with Ventisquero SB serve 2007
• Empanadas de carne, oven baked meat pasties with Ventisquero Pinot Noir G Reserve 2006
• Empanadas de espinaca, spinach and feta cheese pasties with Ventisquero SB Reserve 2007 or Ventisquero Merlot Rosé 2007
• Fresh salmon ceviche, diced salmon marinated in fresh lime juice with mild red chillies and coriander, red onions with Ventisquero Grand Reserve Chardonnay 2006
• Pastel de choclo, oven baked layers of minced meat with onions and spices, roasted chicken breast and corn blended with basil plus a cherry tomato and coriander salad with Ventisquero Vertice 2005

Errazuriz 15th September
 This is an event for all meat lovers! After a session of wine tasting, guests will have the opportunity to match full bodied red wines with an authentic Chilean buffet featuring Churrascos: typical Chilean steak sandwiches, plus other delights.
