Olly Smith - a rip roaring success.
The weekend before St Valentine's Day was the perfect occasion to indulge in your favourite wines and learn about new ones!
Vinopolis hosted a fabulous "Meet the Expert" wine tasting session on
Saturday 11th February 2012 with TV presenter, wine expert and foodie Olly Smith (Saturday Kitchen, Secret Supper Club).
Olly presented for a rip-roaring voyage of discovery through his favourite wines, with top tips and recommendations for 2012.
Olly demonstrated how chocolate and wine can be the perfect match, as he paired 70% Dark Chocolate supplied by Hotel Chocolat with the perfect wine accompaniment.

VIPs were treated to the tasting of six wines with Olly at 12 noon with an additional 30-minute lively Q&A session and a complimentary signed copy of Olly's latest book, they then enjoyed a further selection of wines afterwards in the historic arches of the Vinopolis Wine Tour.
Guests to Olly's regular sessions at 3pm and 5pm (£59 per person) were treated to an entertaining hour-long tasting of six wines before enjoying the Vinopolis Wine Tour at their leisure.

Lunch at Brew Wharf:
Brew Wharf has just launched its new lunchtime menu, featuring a great range of light snacks. Choose from classics like Steak Sandwiches to Thai Fish cakes, each dish comes served with a portion of chips and a choice of either our very own ale brewed on site, or house lager, for only £8.50 (conditions apply).
